So, he was born 2012 years ago. 

His birthdate would read 25 December 1.

Time after His birth is A.D. or AD ... which stands for Anno Domini, which translates into The Year Of The Lord,

and fully into Anno Domini Nostri Iesu (Jesu) Christi, which translates into The Year Of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

There's a misconception sometimes that AD means After Death, which translates into The Death Of The Christ. 

He, incidently, only reached the age of 33 years, before He was crucified.

The date of His crucifixion was estimated as Friday, 3 April 33 AD.

Time before His birth is B.C. ... which stands for Before Christ ... the time of the Old Testament of the Bible.

So, a current date should actually read 1 May 2012 AD.
